Trips & Visits

Due to Coronavirus Covid-19, all school trips and visits have been cancelled for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year.

At Hugh Christie School we believe pupils can derive huge educational benefit from taking part in visits with their school. In particular, they have the opportunity to undergo experiences not available in the classroom setting. Visits help to develop a pupil's investigative and leadership skills, develop confidence, and longer visits in particular encourage greater independence.

 

Our school policy is designed to ensure pupils stay safe and healthy on school visits whilst enjoying the new experiences. The Head of School is responsible for all school trips and visits and reports to the Governors to ensure that visits comply with regulations and guidelines set out by the Local Authority, the Government and the school's own Health & Safety policy.
