Monday 17th July
08:30 Depart from Hugh Christie School
11:00 Arrive at Marwell Zoo
15:00 Depart Marwell Zoo
17:00 Arrive at YHA Swanage
18:30 Evening activities

Tuesday 18th July
We will either:
Leave YHA Swanage and travel by steam train to Corfe Castle. In the afternoon visit Monkey World. Return to YHA Swanage by coach.

OR

Leave YHA Swanage and travel by coach to Monkey World. In the afternoon visit Corfe Castle and return to YHA Swanage on the steam train.

Wednesday 19th July
Visit Dorset Adventure Park to take part in the Mud Trail and Lake Inflatables.

Thursday 20th July
Buddens Adventure Park.

Friday 22nd July
Return to Hugh Christie School by lunchtime.

Monday 17th July

Fantastic first day of our Year 7 trip! We had an amazing trip to Marwell Zoo and saw many different animals including, giraffes, tigers, leopards, meerkats and reptiles to name but a few. We all had a lovely supper and then went down to Swanage Beach to play some games. Everyone is having a great time and will all settle to sleep shortly. Tomorrow we look forward to going to Monkey World, Corfe Castle and having a ride on a steam train.

Tuesday 18th July

We have enjoyed another really good day here in Dorset. The weather has been sunny and pleasant. The students took part in three activities: a guided tour of Corfe Castle, a visit to Monkey World and a trip on the steam train! Some of the students were even fortunate enough to go on the footplate of the steam engine and talk to the driver! This evening we played some games on the beach and will all be going to sleep soon!

Wednesday 19th July

We have had yet another fabulous day in Dorset. We spent all of today at the Dorset Adventure Park participating in a mud trail and inflatables. As you can see from the pictures below, the students had an amazing time and all really enjoyed the activities. We had our final visit tonight to the beach and the students are getting ready for bed. We are really looking forward to our last outing tomorrow!

Thursday 20th July

Today we had a brilliant day at Buddens Adventure Park participating in a range of activities including raft building, kayaking, canoeing, climbing and archery. All the students had great fun and overcame big nerves to complete fantastic challenges. We are now clearing and packing up and looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. We are expected to be back at Hugh Christie by 1:00 pm but will message you to let you know if this changes.
