Welcome to the IB Career Pathway
IB World Schools share a common philosophy:

A commitment to improve the teaching and learning of a diverse and inclusive community of students by delivering challenging, high quality programmes of international education that share a powerful vision.

This is an exciting new course that offers a very different pathway for students in our Sixth Form.
This section on the website gives you some information about the course, why you should study it and where it could take you.
If you have any questions, please speak to either the IBCP Coordinator, Matthew Goss who can be contacted by telephone on 01732 353544 ext. 258 or via email at mgoss@tonbridgefederation.co.uk or Palak Shah, Head of the Sixth Form Curriculum, who will be happy to help.
The Career-related Programme (CP) is designed by the International Baccalaureate (IB). It is for students who want to focus on career-related learning in the Sixth Form. It leads to either further study (university) or employment once successfully completed.
By developing both academic and employment-based skills, the CP will help successful students to:
  • take part fully in the changing workplace over their life-time
  • be more flexible in securing a variety of different jobs
  • gain apprenticeships or further work related training
  • enter further education such as university
  • become lifelong learners
