Hugh Christie Science Fair Success!
On Friday March 17th , Hugh Christie Technology College held the first ever Hugh Christie Science Fair. To mark National Science Week, students were set the challenge of developing a Science project investigating a topic of their choice.
Participating students exceeded all expectations with the variety of creative and interesting displays. Executive Principal, Jon Barker, alongside several esteemed judges were given the difficult task of narrowed the participants down to the final three.
Well-earned congratulations to:
3rd Place Finalist: Bruno Card, for his investigation on how carrots affect the ability to see in the dark.
2nd Place Finalists: Dzenija Busmane and Samuel McCreath for their investigation into the density of various fruit juices.
1st Place Winner: Finley Rockell for his investigation into the iPhone nightshift setting and how it affects sleep.
Students Choice Winner: John Hubbard
